The UFC's first Venezuelan fighter, Blanco (8-3), most recently suffered a submission loss to lightweight Pat Healy at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov. Brimage (4-1) was eliminated from contention on TUF 14, but came back to defeat fellow TUF alum Stephen Bass via unanimous decision at the TUF 14 Finale.
The recently rebranded UFC 145 takes place in Atlanta on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
