'WARRIOR' GARNERS ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATION

Nick Nolte was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film drama for his turn in the MMA film "Warrior".

In the film, Nolte plays a recovering alcoholic boxer who's two sons are primed on a collision course to meet in the finals of the largest MMA tournament in the world.

It was the film's only nomination.
