Jim Miller (21-3) most recently submitted fellow lightweight Melvin Guillard at this past Saturday's UFC on FX 1 card, Diaz (15-7) made his last appearance in the octagon in December, completely dominating Donald Cerrone en route to a unanimous decision victory.
Although not confirmed, it is widely believed that this fight may have title implications.
