"The Magician" Dodson (12-5) is making the move down to the 125 pound division to take on a fellow bantamweight who is also making the move to flyweight, Darren Uyenoyama, at the UFC on FOX 3 event in May.
Uyenoyama (7-3) most recently competed at UFC on FOX 1, defeating Norifumi Yamamoto via unanimous decision. Dodson of course, competed at the TUF 14 finale in December, blasting T.J. Dillashaw in a under two minutes to win a six-figure UFC contract.
UFC has confirmed that verbal agreements are in place for the fight, with bout agreements expected to be signed shortly.
