Dana notes the middleweight title will be defended this summer in Brazil.

 

Chael claims he is the champion and if Anderson wants his belt back, he can come find him. Bisping responds by noting he can buy fake belts on eBay for $30.

Rashad wants to get as many fights in as possible before the "gas runs out."

Dana says Rashad is next in line with a win, Davis' title hopes are to be determined by his performance. "We'll see what happens on Saturday."

 

Bisping in response to Sonnen "I outbox him all day, everyday, he's a great wrestler, I'm a great fighter."

Chael: "I'm the reflection of perfection, the man with biggest arms, the man with biggest charms, and the man in Chicago to do harm on the man three doors down." (referring to Bisping)

Mike Russow, a local police officer, is happy to fight in his hometown of Chicago and that his co-workers will be in attendance to watch him fight. Used all his vacation time to train for this fight.

Bisping says he discussed Chael and with Jake Shields a little, but nothing significant.

Chael: "I don't do training camps, they're jokes. I practice every day, and if I have a fight, I works harder. My skills are my skills, 15 hard minutes. May the better man win, and he will."

Rashad: "it's easier to fight when you don't like somebody. I don't have anything against Phil, but we gotta fight, so now I do."

Chael says everyone in the world is going to watch this event and it will set records on fox. Runs down the times. "If you're not smart enough to know you have to change the channel (from FUEL TV to FOX), then you don't deserve the entertainment."

Davis: "Rashad is the #1 contender, but after Saturday, he won't be"

 

Bisping expects a great crowd with a lot of energy, whether negative or positive, it doesn't matter.

 

Chael: "I believe that I am the true champion. This was Anderson's belt, I took it like a gangster in the night. Anderson is as relevant as Mike Tyson. He should paint his face, gain 100 pounds, and hope people recognize him, because no one remembers who these guys are."

 

Weidman: Focussing on prior experience, weight cut going well.

 

Einemo says jokingly "Not everyone likes the police, so I have to get the other fans on my side"
 

Weidman: "Looking to walk forward and throw punches and take him down if needed. I am comfortable on the ground with Maia"

 

Dana: "Chris was our second choice, first guy turned it down."

Davis on Rashad's comments on wrestling: "Cocaine is a hell of a drug, and I encourage imagination. He'll never beat me in wrestling, not thumb wrestling, not anything."

 

Rashad: "Guarantee I will beat you in wrestling. You're trash, you can't win at an international level."

Rashad and Davis go back and forth angrily.  

Dana: Chicago is important for the UFC.

 

Chael praises Joe Rogan and promotes his comedy show tonight, says he will not takeover for Rogan on commentary.

 

Davis: "No animosity towards Rashad"

 

Davis repeatedly says Rashad must be on drugs for his ridiculous comments.

Davis: "He's going to get what he deserved in August" (the two were originally scheduled to fight then)

 

Rashad: "The W"

 

Einemo describes troubles with plane ride to the US. Had to have emergency landing in Ireland due to the plane malfunctioning.

 

Davis happy to embarrass Rashad in front of everybody.

 

Maia praises Sonnen.

Sonnen says when he wins the title, he will rematch Maia.

Weidman "I have to win this fight, it's do or die for me."

 

Davis and Rashad at it again

 

Rashad: "Phil couldn't bust a grape, he can't hit. Looks like Arsenio Hall and John Salley had a baby."

Einemo: "Focussing on this fight, but would love to fight on the Sweden card."

Dana: "We'll see what happens on Saturday."

Chael: "Whatcha gonna do when you know who? How you gonna deal with the man of steel? How you gonna act with the Sonnen attack?"

 

Bisping: "Not the first time I'm an underdog, won't be the first time I win as an underdog. The guy who fights best wins, and I will fight best. He can keeps his fake belt and shove it up his ass."

 

Chael: "I will be fighting Anderson in the octagon. I will stomp him for five full rounds.. again."
 

The press conferences wrapped up with the fighter staredowns. Bisping and Sonnen got nose to nose, and Davis tried to make Rashad flinch, but to no avail.
