UFC Middleweight Division Fight: Chris Camozzi def. Dustin Jacoby by submission via guillotine choke (1:08, R3)

Fight #1 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight

Joey Beltran (13-6-0) vs. Lavar Johnson (15-5-0)

Referee: Robert Madrigal

Round One

The round begins with Johnson dropping Beltran quickly with a body punch, Johnson then powers Beltran up against the fence while landing knee strikes. Beltran fights back by landing several short range punches, they separate and Johnson lands a few legs kicks on Beltran. Johnson then keeps Beltran at a distance by throwing jabs at him, Beltran then charges at Johnson while throwing some wild punches. Johnson blocks a Beltran takedown attempt by eating a leg kick, Beltran then lands a few punches to the midsection of Johnson. Johnson lands a leg kick on Beltran and follows it up with an uppercut, Johnson then follows it up with a left and several more uppercuts and Beltran goes out cold.

Fight Result: Lavar Johnson def. Joey Beltran by KO via uppercut (4:24, R1)

Post fight interview with Lavar Johnson, who says that Joey Beltran is a tough fighter for taking all those blows and his hat is off to him.

Fight #2 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Michael Johnson (10-6-0) vs. Shane Roller (10-5-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with both fighters throwing a lot of fades, the fighters end up battling for position and end up separating each other. Johnson then forces Roller up against the fence and he lands a few knee strikes, Johnson separates from Roller after landing an elbow strike. Roller recovers by catching Johnson with a quick upper cut, Johnson forces Roller up against the cage wall and lands a single punch. Roller tries to take Johnson to the ground and he fails, Johnson controls Roller again and he nails him with a knee strike. Johnson lands a leg kick and he eats a striking combination from Roller, Johnson lands a combination of his own on Roller as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Johnson quickly finding a home for his left on the face of Roller, Roller then catches a charging Johnson with a short right. Roller stalks Johnson and lands a right before eating a left, Johnson then forces Roller up against the cage wall before separating. Roller lands a knee to the body of Johnson before having a stalemate on the fence, Johnson then brings the fight to the ground and finds himself on top of Roller. Johnson then starts landing a series of elbow strikes on Roller, Roller uses the wall walk to get the fight back to the feet. Roller then dazes Johnson with a series of rights to the face, Johnson then snaps off a two punch combination on Roller. Johnson then rocks Roller badly with a multi punch combination, Roller tries to drag Johnson to the ground as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Johnson attacking Roller with a few leg kicks, Johnson then catches an incoming Roller with a straight right. Roller then drags Johnson to the ground and he quickly gets back control, Roller then starts landing a ton of strikes to the head of Johnson. Referee Herb Dean briefly stops the fight to warn Roller about illegal punches, the fight resumes with Roller continuing his ground and pound attack on Johnson. Roller starts looking for the rear naked choke and Johnson blocks him, Roller tries to switch positions and Johnson ends up on top of him. Johnson then starts landing some elbow strikes on the head of Roller, the fighters stand up and Johnson accidentally catches Roller in the doodle with a kick. The fight resumes with both fighters swinging wildly until the round ends.

Fight Result: Michael Johnson def. Shane Roller by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Post fight interview with Michael Johnson, who says his movement was key to the victory and he feels most lightweight fighters do not practice that.

Fight #3 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Charles Oliveira (14-2-0-1NC) vs. Eric Wisely (19-6-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Oliveira challenging Wisely early with some kicks, Wisely is quick to respond with some kicks of his own. Oliveira catches a Wisely kick and he trips him onto the ground, Oliveira then starts attacking Wisely with a lot of ground and pound. Oliveira goes for a knee bar and Wisely rolls to safety, Oliveira then wraps his leg in a figure four around Wisely’s knee and pulls him back for a tap out.

Fight Result: Charles Oliveira def. Eric Wisely by submission via modified knee bar (1:43, R1)

Post fight interview with Charles Oliveira, who says the weight cut was good thanks to his friends and he trains for moments like this.

Fight #4 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

George Roop (12-9-1) vs. Cub Swanson (15-5-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with both fights landing a few leg kicks on each other, Roop then goes for a running knee strike on Swanson. Roop then attacks Swanson with a high kick that was partially blocked, Roop then charges at Swanson and lands a kick to the rib cage. Roop avoids a round house kick from Swanson to punch him in the ribs, Swanson then clobbers Roop with a punching combination. Roop responds by catching Swanson with several punches and kicks to the body, Swanson dives in and lands a right on Roop. Roop grabs Swanson and he instead gets put on the ground with a judo throw, Swanson postures up and lands a leg kick on Roop as he also stood up. Swanson then lands a round house kick to the midsection of Roop, Swanson then trips Roop and puts him on the ground. Roop tries to land a few up kicks as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Roop charging at Swanson while throwing punches, Swanson then dazes Roop badly with a looping left. Swanson follows it up by attacking Roop with leg kicks, the fighters lock up and Roop lands a knee strike on Swanson. Roop then backs Swanson up with a punching combination, Swanson then clobbers Roop with a right and follows it up with several more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Cub Swanson def. George Roop by TKO via strikes (2:22, R2)

Post fight interview with Cub Swanson, who says that he did not even know George Roop went down after the punch landed.

Fight #5 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight

John Olav Einemo (6-2-0) vs. Mike Russow (14-1-0-1NC)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Russow charging at Einemo and immediately putting him on the ground, the fighters stand up and Russow forces Einemo against the fence. Einemo tries to keep Russow at a distance with a leg kick, the fighters battle for position and Einemo lands a knee strike on Russow. Einemo follows it up by catching Russow with a few uppercuts, Russow then eats a knee strike after bullying Einemo against the cage wall. Russow pops Einemo with a few jabs before bringing him to the ground, Einemo is quick to get Russow in the open guard. Einemo then catches Russow with a few strikes from his back, Russow postures up and eats an up kick from Einemo. Russow drops back down on Einemo and goes into his guard, Russow then gets full mount as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Einemo working his jab on the face of Russow, Russow then charges at Einemo and brings the fight back to the ground after eating a knee. Russow then manages to land a few elbow strikes to the body of Einemo, Russow postures up and eats a few strikes from Einemo. Russow then transitions to half guard on Einemo, Russow postures up again before jumping back on top of Einemo. Russow then starts landing a little ground and pound on Einemo, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Russow drags Einemo back to the ground as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Russow popping off a few jabs on Einemo, Russow goes for a takedown and Einemo uses his balance to avoid it. Einemo then catches Russow with a few hard shots before getting taken down, Einemo then nearly triangle choked Russow before he postured up. Russow postures up on Einemo and accomplishes very little before returning to the ground, Russow tries to transition to the half guard and Einemo blocks it. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Einemo lands a few knee strikes on Russow, Russow then scores another takedown on Einemo. Russow briefly postured up before diving back on Einemo as the round ends.

Fight Result: Mike Russow def. John Olav Einemo by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Post fight interview with Mike Russow, who says it was a dream come true to fight in his hometown and he apologizes for the boring fight.

Fight #6 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Evan Dunham (12-2-0) vs. Nik Lentz (23-4-2-1NC)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with both fighters swinging wildly at each other, Dunham then pops Lentz with two rights after eating a few strikes. Lentz then cracks Dunham with a knee after failing to control his head, Lentz then nails Dunham with an overhand right. Dunham then catches Lentz with a right after eating three to the face, Dunham then scores a takedown on Lentz. Lentz uses a wall walk to get back up as Dunham pressures him, the fighters separate and Lentz kicks Dunham in the ribs. Dunham then goes for two guillotine chokes on Lentz and he fails to get them, Dunham then catches Lentz with a few elbow strikes. Dunham then scores a takedown on Lentz and he gets in his open guard, Lentz then attacks Dunham with strikes from his back. Dunham postures up and nails Lentz with two hard punches as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Dunham nailing Lentz with a punch/high kick combination, Dunham then scores a takedown on Lentz and he quickly gets half guard. Dunham nearly gets the arm triangle choke until he lost his grip, Lentz tries to stand up and Dunham quickly puts him back on the ground. The fighters stand back up and Dunham nails Lentz with a few punches, Dunham then cracks Lentz with a left after eating a leg kick. Lentz charges at Dunham to force him against the cage wall, both fighters then start swinging like crazy at each other and a lot of the strikes connect. Dunham then gets Lentz back on the ground and he stacks him up, Dunham postures up and he nails Lentz with some strikes. Dunham then moves to side control on Lentz while landing elbow strikes, Dunham then starts attacking Lentz with a lot more ground and pound. They both stand back up and Lentz forces Dunham up against the cage wall, Lentz then lands an uppercut on Dunham as the round ends.

In between rounds, the doctor checks on Lentz’s eye and decides that he is in no condition to continue and he stops the fight.

Fight Result: Evan Dunham def. Nik Lentz by TKO via doctor stoppage (5:00, R2)

Post Fight interview with Evan Dunham, who says that he fought the fight round by round and he was hoping to fight another round with Nik Lentz.
