1/31- CWE Announces New Match Maker
With "Hotshot" Danny Duggan's monumental win against CWE Champion Mentallo on January 27th Canadian Wrestling's Elite has officially re-gained control of the company from the Alliance of Defiance. With the rebel group no longer in the day to day operations of the company a change in management and direction is imminent. After interviewing many qualified candidates the board of directors has made it's final decision.
On Thursday, March 8th at Cowboy's Roadhouse "The Mecca" Shane Madison makes his official return to CWE! A cornerstone of Manitoba wrestling Shane Madison has arguably been the most influential and one of the biggest contributors to the Winnipeg wrestling scene since arriving in 1999. The now retired "Mecca" at one time was the poster boy of any company he stepped in the ring for and has headlined many of the provinces biggest shows against the industries biggest opponents.
When CWE started operations Madison came of retirement to offer his experience and insight to the debuting company with a great run in 2009 which in ended in October 2009 at Simply the Best in a three match against best friend Jon Cutler and WWE superstar Val Venis.
With the company launching into a new venture at Cowboy's Roadhouse it needed someone capable of guiding the company into bigger and better things. The always opinionated Madison has the experience and credentials to back him up and quickly became the front runner for the position with a detailed game plan to have CWE rise to the next level.
The in ring retired competitor has settled down in the Windsor Park area and looks forward to the big debut right in his neighborhood on March 8th. With the turning of the tide in CWE's direction we can only wait til March 8th to see what "The Mecca" has in store in 2012.
