Fight #7 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight
Ed Herman (19-7-0) vs. Clifford Starks (8-0-0)

Round One
The round begins with Herman catching Starks with a few uppercuts, Starks then powers Herman up against the cage wall. Herman takes the opportunity to nail Starks with short range knee strikes, the fighters break and Starks pops Herman with a straight right. Starks then takes a breather before nailing Herman with another right, Herman responds by nailing Starks with more uppercuts. Herman and Starks then battle for position against the cage wall, both fighters then starts exchanging strikes by the cage wall. Herman then catches Starks with a few knee strikes and an uppercut, Starks recovers to catch Herman with a right. Herman then scores a takedown on Starks and he gets the half guard, Starks uses a scramble to get on top of Herman as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Starks catching Herman with a short right to the face, Starks then powers Herman up against the cage wall. Herman then scores a trip takedown on Starks and he quickly gets full mount, Herman then gets back control and he locks on a rear naked choke until the fighter taps out.
Fight Result: Ed Herman def. Clifford Starks by submission via rear naked choke (1:43, R2)
Post fight interview with Ed Herman, who says that his opponent nailed him with good strikes and he knew the wrestler would give up his back.
Fight #8 - UFC Bantamweight Division Fight
Scott Jorgensen (13-4-0) vs. Renan Barao (29-1-0-1NC)

Round One
The round begins with Barao nailing Jorgensen with a head kick in just a few seconds, Barao then pops Jorgensen with a few leg kicks. Barao then pushes Jorgensen back with a spinning back kick and flying knee strike, Barao then stuffs a Jorgensen takedown attempt. Jorgensen then catches Barao with a wild right to the side of the head, Barao then forces Jorgensen against the cage wall while landing knee strikes. Jorgensen then catches Barao with a counter left after eating a leg kick, Jorgensen then catches Barao with a straight right. Jorgensen then catches Barao with a knee strike while going for the takedown, Barao responds by landing knee strikes of his own. Barao then catches Jorgensen with a spinning back kick to the face as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Barao keeping Jorgensen at bay with a variety of kicks, both fighters then start testing each other with jabs. Barao then starts jumping at Jorgensen while throwing various punches, Barao then clobbers Jorgensen with a spinning back kick to the rib cage. Jorgensen then pulls guard on Barao to get the fight to the ground, Barao then transitions to half guard on Jorgensen. Jorgensen then finds a way to get Barao back into his full guard, the fighters get up after Jorgensen causes a scramble. Barao then nails Jorgensen with a spinning back kick to the upper body, Barao then lands a push kick on Jorgensen as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with both fighters trading punches in the center of the octagon, Barao then catches Jorgensen with a few leg kicks. Barao then catches Jorgensen with a two punch combination, Barao then rocks Jorgensen with a punch to the midsection. Barao then goes for a flying knee strike that Jorgensen barely avoids, Barao then barely connects with a spinning back kick to the face of Jorgensen. Jorgensen then finds a way to land a left to the face of Barao, Barao then starts attacking Jorgensen with more leg kicks. Both fighters trade more strikes with each other as the round ends.
Fight Result: Renan Barao def. Scott Jorgensen by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #9 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight
Josh Koscheck (18-5-0) vs. Mike Pierce (13-4-0)

Round One
The round begins with Pierce immediately charging at Koscheck to force him against the cage wall, Pierce then starts nailing Koscheck with short range strikes. They then lock up and battle for position all around the octagon, Koscheck then lands a few knee strikes on Pierce. The fighters separate and Pierce rocks Koscheck with a right, Koscheck then catches Pierce with a right of his own. Pierce then charges at Koscheck while throwing a series of strikes, Pierce then charges at Koscheck to force him up against the cage wall as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Pierce catching Koscheck with a right cross, Pierce then charges at Koscheck to force him against the cage wall. Koscheck is able to overpower Pierce and change spots with him, the fighters separate and Pierce peppers Koscheck with jabs. Koscheck then barely connects with a hard right to the hairline of Pierce, Pierce then powers Koscheck up against the cage wall. Koscheck then catches Pierce with an elbow strike as the fighters separate, Koscheck then scores a takedown on Pierce and he gets leg control. Pierce then finds a way to get back up after eating a right as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Pierce keeping Koscheck back pedaling with jabs, Pierce then scores a trip takedown on Koscheck. Koscheck quickly stands up and Pierce follows him up as well, both fighters then start battling for position on the cage wall. Koscheck finds a way to land an elbow strike while on the cage wall, Pierce then starts winning the dirty boxing war against Koscheck. Pierce then catches Koscheck with a lead left hook, Koscheck then powers Pierce up against the cage wall. The referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Koscheck then accidentally pokes Pierce in the eye, the fight resumes with Pierce nailing Koscheck with jabs. Koscheck then lands a left hook to the rib cage of Pierce, Koscheck then scores a takedown on Pierce and he gets leg control. Pierce finds a way to get back up and he catches Koscheck with a spinning elbow strike.
Fight Result: Josh Koscheck def. Mike Pierce by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 28-29)
Post fight interview with Josh Koscheck, who says that his ability to score takedowns was the key and he says that he is the most hated man in MMA.
Fight #10 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight
Roy Nelson (17-6-0) vs. Fabricio Werdum (14-5-1)

Round One
The round begins with Werdum keeping Nelson at bay with various kicks, Werdum then catches Nelson with a high kick. Werdum then uses his speed to get Nelson to the ground and he gets back control, Nelson then finds a way to get back to the feet. Nelson then catches Werdum with a few uppercuts, Werdum then gets the plum clinch on Nelson and lands a few knee strikes. Nelson then starts winning the dirty boxing battle against Werdum, Werdum recovers by assaulting Nelson with a lot of knee strikes. Nelson grabs ahold of Werdum and forces him up against the cage wall, the referee separates the fighters and then calls the doctor to look at the injured face of Nelson. The fight resumes with Werdum charging at Nelson with strikes, Nelson then drops Werdum with a punch. Nelson then avoids a submission to attack Werdum with some strikes, the fighters both stand up and Werdum lands a few knee strikes as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Werdum briefly dropping Nelson with a knee strike, Nelson then attacks Werdum with some leg kicks. Werdum responds by landing a leg kick of his own on Nelson, Nelson then starts attacking Werdum with dirty boxing before eating another knee strike. Werdum then catches Nelson with a head kick after eating a few punches, Werdum then resumes his leg kick attack on Nelson. Werdum then lands a push kick and knee strike on Nelson, Werdum then lands a kick to the rib cage of Nelson. Nelson then starts rocking Werdum with a series of wild punches as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Nelson catching Werdum with a straight left, Werdum charges at Nelson and he gets caught in a standing guillotine choke. Nelson releases the choke before catching Werdum with a knee strike, Werdum responds by assaulting Nelson with many knee strikes. Werdum then starts working the jab on Nelson, Werdum then bashes Nelson with a front kick to the face. Werdum then barely lands a head kick on Nelson, Werdum then lands a knee strike to the side of Nelson’s head. Nelson then backs Werdum up by throwing a wild right, Werdum responds by landing a punching combination on Nelson. Both fighters exchange a few more strikes as the round ends.
Fight Result: Fabricio Werdum def. Roy Nelson by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Post fight interview with Fabricio Werdum, who says he was shocked that he didn’t knockout Roy Nelson with the knee strikes and he was not discouraged at all during the fight.
Main Event - UFC Interim Welterweight Title Decision Fight
Nick Diaz (27-7-0-1NC) vs. Carlos Condit (27-5-0)

Round One
The round begins with Condit immediately attacking Diaz with leg kicks, Diaz then charges at Condit while eating a knee strike. Diaz then tags Condit with a left by the cage wall, Diaz then lands a three punch combination on Condit. Condit barely connects with a switch kick to the head of Diaz, Condit then resumes his leg kick attack on Diaz. Condit then misses a spinning elbow strike before Diaz grabs a hold of him, Diaz then starts pegging Condit with a ton of punches. Condit then keeps Diaz at bay with a few more strikes as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Condit attempting a high kick on Diaz, Diaz then blocks a flying knee strike from Condit. Condit then barely clips Diaz with a spinning back fist to the forehead, Diaz then pops Condit with a two punch combination after some trash talking. Condit then resumes his leg kick attack on Diaz, Diaz then hits Condit with a few rights to the head and rib cage. Diaz then rocks Condit with a right after eating a few kicks, Diaz then starts attacking the body of Condit with a lot of punches. Condit then cracks Diaz with a right hook to the rib cage as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with both fighters throwing kicks at each other, Condit then resumes his leg kick attack on Diaz. Then catches Diaz with a push kick to the body, Diaz then rocks Condit with a multiple punch combination to the body and head. Condit then backs Diaz up with multiple kick attempts, Condit then catches Diaz with a body punch after eating two punches. Then attempts a flying crane kick on a backing up Condit, Condit then lands a kick to the midsection of Diaz. Condit then lands a multiple strike combination on Diaz, Diaz then rocks Condit with a left to the face. Condit recovers to nail Diaz with an elbow strike to the head, Condit lands a leg kicks while tripping as the round ends.
Round Four
The round begins with Condit resuming his leg kick attack on Diaz, Condit then starts peppering Diaz with some jabs. Diaz then lands a kick to the lower body of Condit, Diaz then starts chasing Condit around the octagon while throwing strikes. Condit then lands a front kick to the face of Diaz, Condit then blocks a Diaz takedown attempt by pushing on his head. Condit then resumes his leg kick attacks on Diaz, Condit then lands a body kick and leg kick on a tiring Diaz. Condit then lands a looping left hand to the head of Diaz, Condit then lands a striking combination on Diaz. Diaz then lands a few strikes to the midsection of Condit, Diaz then catches the leg of Condit during a kick attempt. Condit then lands a leg kick as the round ends.
Round Five
The round begins with Condit popping Diaz with a two punch combination, Diaz then starts backing Condit up by throwing kicks. Diaz then starts landing some leg kicks on Condit, Condit then connects with a push kick on the body of Diaz. Condit then stumbles Diaz with a low angle leg kick, Condit follows it up by nailing Diaz with a high head kick. Diaz then grabs a hold of Condit before landing a knee strike, Both fighters then land several wild strikes while on the cage wall. Diaz then grabs Condit and drags him to the ground with a trip takedown, Diaz then starts working towards a rear naked choke on Condit. Condit escapes and gets back control on Diaz as the round ends.
Fight Result: Carlos Condit def. Nick Diaz by unanimous decision (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) to become the UFC Interim Welterweight Champion
Post fight interview with Carlos Condit, who says that the whole moment was very surreal and he started getting more comfortable in the later rounds. Post fight interview with Nick Diaz, who says he will not accept this fight as a loss and he then he announced his retirement from the sport.
