A yet unannounced injury has forced light heavyweight fighter Brandon Vera out of a scheduled rematch with Thiago Silva at UFC on FX III. This fight would have been a rematch from their UFC 125 fight, where Silva defeated Vera by unanimous decision. There is no replacement yet announced for a fight with Silva, who is coming off of a one year suspension for a positive drug test. UFC On FX III takes place on May 15th at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia and the only other fight previously announced was Tom Lawlor taking on Jason MacDonald.
