UFC 145: JONES VS EVANS OFFICIAL

Although unofficially announced by UFC brass over the past few weeks, UFC officials announced today that Jon Jones vs Rashad Evans is official.
The highly anticipated fight will headline UFC 145 in April, and will be for the light heavyweight championship.
The two rivals were formerly close friends and training partners, who had vowed not to fight each other. However, when Jones stepped in for Evans and defeated "Shogun" Rua to capture the light heavyweight strap, that all changed.
Jones (15-1) most recently defended his title at UFC 140 in December, putting Lyoto Machida to sleep in less than two rounds. Evans (17-1-1) headlined January's UFC on FOX 2 event with Phil Davis, defeating the previously undefeated Davis via unanimous decision in a five round non-title bout.
UFC 145: Jones vs Evans takes place April 21 at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
