The highlights of the event are below.
A video package featuring many of tonight's fighters is showing on the big screen. Traditional Asian MMA introductions are taking place. All the fighters step out onto the stage, one by one, as they are introduced to the crowd.
Judging is not based on a 10-9 system, and instead is based on the fight as a whole, and the results shown here will reflect that.
Welterweight bout: Zuli Silawanto (5-5) vs Agus Nanang (0-0)
Round One: Nanang with a leg kick early. He rushes in and nails Zuli with body shots. An absolute BRAWL ensues and Zuli drops Nanang. He jumps on Nanang and drops fists down violently. Hops into mount and pounds away to finish the fight.
Zuli Silawanto defeats Agus Nanang via TKO (punches) at 0:47 of Round One.
Lightweight bout: Ngabdi Mulyadi (5-2) vs Peter Davis (3-1)
Round One: Yuji Shimada calls for the bell and the two lightweights head to the center of the cage. A front kick comes up short by Mulyadi. A leg kick by Mulyadi. Davis looking slightly uncomfortable. Mulyadi clinches Davis and pushes him against the cage. The two dirty box against the cage. Two big knees to the body by Mulyadi. The two continue to clinch in the center of the cage. Davis pushes Mulyadi against the cage, but Mulyadi spins and gets a takedown. Davis closes his guard and keeps Mulyadi held down. The fighters scramble and Davis tries to get to his feet, but Mulyadi gets a front headlock on him. Davis fights off and works toward an escape, but Mulyadi is relentless. Davis escapes and locks in a guillotine on Mulyadi. They get back to their feet and Davis loses the choke. Elbows to the kidneys by Davis. The Indonesian, Mulyadi, picks up Davis, slams him down, and looks to land some lefts, but is wrapped up in the process. The rounds ends on the ground.
Round Two: The bell sounds and the fighters touch gloves. A low kick by Davis to open it up. Davis looking the more rangy fighter. A leg kick by Mulyadi is countered by a swinging right. Davis staying at range, but Mulyadi rushes in and looks for a takedown. Pressing Davis against the cage. A couple solid knees to the body by Davis. Davis dropping elbows to the back of Mulyadi. The ref breaks them up for inactivity and warns them. Davis opens up with some jabs, but keeps his distance. Mulyadi rushes in, but Davis slips a right in and drops him. Davis jumps on him to finish, but Mulyadi recovers and takes him down. Davis with a couple of upkicks, and Mulyadi tries to avoid the strikes. Mulyadi tries to posture up, but gets pushed back. He is smothering Davis as the round ends.
Round Three: Mulyadi again works for a takedown to start the round. Davis has a choke opportunity, but isn't taking advantage of it. Mulyadi with some shots to the body, but he's more interested in getting the takedown. The ref breaks them up for inactivity yet again. Davis with jabs to keep Mulyadi at bay. He looks for a front kick but comes up short. Mulyadi eats a punch as he dives in for a takedown, eats a knee, but picks Davis up and slams him down. Davis looking uncomfortable on the ground, while Mulyadi doesn't do anything to capitalize on his position. Davis pushes him back and lands two upkicks before Mulyadi dives back onto him. Davis slips a triangle in out of nowhere and it is deep. Mulyadi taps and Davis celebrates!
Peter Davis defeats Ngabdi Mulyadi via Submission (Triangle Choke) at 3:54 of Round Three.
Bantamweight bout: Irshaad Sayed (2-1) vs Jessie Rafols (6-2)
Round One: The two high-paced fighters touch gloves and Sayed throws a quick combo. Rafols looks to clinch, and Sayed pushes him against the cage. The two exchange knees to the body. The two spin and separate. The two exchange hooks on the feet. Sayed with a violently loud kick to the leg. Sayed drops Rafols with a solid right hand and a big left and Matt Hume steps in to end the fight. Two minutes later and Rafols is still on the mat.
Irshaad Sayed defeats Jessie Rafols via Knockout at 1:49 of Round One.
