NICK DENIS VS JOHNNY BEDFORD SET FOR UFC ON FOX 3

One Canadian's loss is another's gain.
After a fight with Sudbury-based Mitch Gagnon was scratched for UFC on FOX 2, Johnny Bedford will go toe to toe with a fighter from just down the road, as he takes on North Bay, Ontario's own, Nick Denis, UFC officials announced today.
"Brutal" Bedford (18-9-1) most recently appeared in December at The Ultimate Finale 14 where he destroyed Louis Gaudinot via third round TKO. His opponent, "The Ninja of Love" Denis (11-2), a Sengoku veteran, most recently appeared at UFC on FX 1, where he handed Joseph Sandoval his walking papers with brutal elbows, finishing the fight in 22 seconds.
UFC on FOX 3: Miller vs Diaz takes place Saturday, May 5th at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and features a lightweight title eliminator between Jim Miller and Nate Diaz.
