RAW REAX – THEY DID IT RIGHT

If I had to sum up the RAW from Monday night in one word it would be, awesome. Everyone was hitting every spot, including the Divas tag match, because it only lasted 3 minutes. John Cena did a fantastic job and I think I figured it out, he was real. Cena spoke from the heart last night when it came to his feelings about The Rock. Face it, Cena IS telling the truth when he talks about what The Rock 'says' and what The Rock 'does' being two different things. All this does is make next week’s show that much more intriguing to find out what The Rock will say in return. It'll be a war of words for the next five weeks and if Cena can keep this going, it'll be very entertaining.

Secondly, in a VERY well done promo, Triple H accepts Undertaker's challenge and adds a very interesting stipulation, Hell in a Cell. My initial reaction was, awesome, my second, there better be blood. I have very HIGH expectations for this match now. I didn't a week ago, and this has to get bloody. I say that not because I'm blood thirsty, but because the blood will help tell the story. They are saying this is the end, the 'Apocalypse' as 'Taker called it. Then, blood will be needed for it to indeed “end.” If there isn't blood, this match could very well be a major letdown. Let there be blood!

Lastly, we all knew what the result of the Battle Royal was going to be (thanks Internet), but they did it well. I'm also glad that Creative didn't try to “swerve” the Internet by having someone other than Chris Jericho win it (like they supposedly did when Sheamus won the Rumble). I'm glad they got the match set now for 'Mania so we can look forward to verbal thrashings between Punk and Jericho. Overall, the Battle Royal was the ending to the show that it needed to have. I'll slap four stars out of five on this show, very entertaining.
BARRETT OUT AND OTHER OPINIONS
Also on RAW, Wade Barrett suffered a dislocated elbow which will sideline him for 6-8 weeks (as reported here on PW Insider). I’m VERY disappointed in this news. Not because I’m a Barrett fan, but because it looks like he’ll miss the ‘Mania payday. At the end of the day, I love this business but more importantly, I care about the boys making as much money as they can. Barrett missing a ‘Mania payday is a big blow to his bottom line. I do wish him a speedy recovery.
On the topic of Barrett’s injury, it wasn’t Big Show’s fault. You need to stop it, people. Remember, as the saying goes, “This ain’t ballet.”
If you missed the “Elimination Chamber” PPV, consider yourself lucky. In my opinion, they should drop the PPV between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. Highlight of the night was the rub they gave Santino in the Smackdown Chamber match. Two out of five stars.
I read people on Twitter, in forums, and on Internet wrestling radio shows talking about how the Miz has “fallen off” from last year’s ‘Mania to now. I have news for you if you think that; he still has a job, he still gets TV time, AND he’s still over. Sure, he’s not in the main-event this year, but not everyone can be in the main-event every year. He’s still in the WWE and not in TNA. He’s doing just fine.
'MANIA NOW

On April 1, 2012 the main-event of Wrestlemania 28 will be John Cena V The Rock, we've known that since April of 2011. There have been a few more matches added to the card in the last forty-eight hours. As I stated earlier, HHH V Undertaker HIAC, Daniel Bryan V Sheamus, and CM Punk V Chris Jericho, roundup the card that is set. Those four matches, right there, make this PPV worth the money to order it. Now, if you also take into consideration all the matches that are “scheduled” to happen, this card is set to be GREAT.

As of now, if memory serves me correctly, Kharma V Beth Phoenix and Shaq V Big Show are the two matches that haven't been officially added to the card. Look at this card from top-to-bottom and if this isn't a great show, I would be truly surprised, and disappointed. The (rumored) Money in the Bank match hasn't been announced yet and that always is a hit at 'Mania. Which is why I am so glad they are bringing it back to the show, it’s much better as a match than its own PPV. This Wrestlemania could be the greatest of all-time, until next year.

And that’s just my opinion
