NATE QUARRY OFFICIALLY RETIRES FROM MMA
By Joe Lebeau on 3/1/2012 11:36 PM
Nate "Rock" Quarry has officially retired from active MMA competition.
Tonight on Spike TV's MMA Uncensored Live, Quarry, who serves as one of the co-hosts on the show, took a moment to announce his retirement. As tears filled his eyes, he explained his decision as one he made after his last fight, and seeing how his family, and particularly his daughter, reacted to the fight.
This comes as no surprise, as Nate hasn't competed since a TKO loss to Jorge Rivera at UFC Fight Night 21 in March of 2010. Nate exits the sport with a record of 12-4, with notable wins over Shonie Carter, Kalib Starnes, and Jason MacDonald.
