Alexander Gustafsson has a new opponent.
An undisclosed injury has forced Antonio Rogerio Nogueira out of his planned headlining bout against Gustafsson, and stepping in for him will be Thiago Silva.
Silva (14-2 1 NC), last fought on January 1st, 2011, defeating Brandon Vera. However, he falsified a drug test, and thus was suspended for a year, and had the result overturned to a no contest.
Gustafsson (13-1), has competed six times in the UFC, going 5-1 with his lone loss coming to Phil Davis. He most recently defeated Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 141 in December.
UFC on FUEL TV 2 takes place on April 14th at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
