One time Strikeforce fighter Brandon Saling has had his fighter’s license revoked in both New Jersey and Ohio for lying about his criminal background on his fighter’s license application. According to various reports, Saling is listed as both a sexual predator and felon, as his past criminal record has come to light with this information revealed. Strikeforce CEO stated after Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey that he was launching an investigation into the matter. Although the fighter is only suspended in New Jersey and Ohio, most other athletic commissions honor the suspensions from other states. If he is unsuccessful at an April 11th appeal, Saling will have to wait a full year before reapplying for a fighter’s license.
