An interesting non-title fight has been added to this May’s Bellator 67 event as BFC Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler faces UFC and PRIDE veteran Akihiro Gono. Chandler is coming off of capturing the lightweight title when he defeated then champion Eddie Alvarez at Bellator 58. Gono enters the fight winning three of his last five, most notably defeating Hayato Sakurai at K-1 Dynamite! The Power Of Courage 2009. Bellator 67 takes place on May 4th at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada…no other fights have been announced at this time.
