READY FOR WINNIPEG RETURN ON MARCH 18TH
WITH WWE LEGEND HONKY TONK MAN
WINNIPEG, MANITOBA (03/08/12) – Steeltown Pro Wrestling’s (SPW) Winnipeg return to the Royal Canadian Legion at 1335 Main Street is fast approaching and shaping up to be a huge event. SPW’s last 5 events at the Royal Canadian Legion have been sell-outs with standing room only! Tickets for this event are $12, available at the door with a scheduled bell time of 7:00 PM.
Previously announced was the return of former WWE Intercontinental Champion and wrestling legend The Honky Tonk Man along with a main event pitting Aboriginal wrestling star Kevy Chevy Vs El Salvador’s “Extreme Luchador” La Sombra for the SPW Heavyweight Championship.
Two more matches have been signed with Winnipeg’s own “Misfit” Mike Mission challenging French-Canadian MARIUS for the SPW Provincial Championship and Greek wrestler Leo London squaring off against 2011 SPW Wrestler of the Year Mr. Nasty in re-matches from last months sold-out Raising the Stakes 2012 event. The 400+ lbs Big Cliff Corleone challenges friend-turned-nemesis Reggie Gallagher in their final encounter to settle this long standing feud plus the Wild Women of SPW will be in action!
Also scheduled to appear are the SPW Tag Team Champions SYKO & Son of Syko and Steeltown Pro Wrestling’s diverse roster including “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom, “German Juggernaut” Moses Luke, British sensation James Beaver, “Wild Child” Jerin Rose, Chinese-Canadian Jackie “Jet” Lee, “Mr. TLC” Tommy Lee Curtis and Aboriginal wrestlers Shadow Xtreme, Billy Blaze and Alexis Anderson.
