AZW NEWS

***AZW returns to the FilCom Center on March 19th after a month off that included a trip to All Pro Wrestling in Hayward, CA for the Pacific Challenge.

The results of the APW/AZW challenge saw A.J Kirsch & Dylan Drake (APW) defeat Bobby "The Lightning" Bolt & Mark Anarchy (AZW) when Kirsch pinned Bolt following a stunner. After the match Anarchy showing his true colors left Bolt in the ring. However the APW crowd gave Bolt a nice ovation as he left the ring.

Kaimana (AZW) defeated Jeckles (APW) by pinfall following a DVD and a top rope frogsplash to even the series at 1-1.

In the nights main event APW Champion "British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher defeated AZW Champion "Mr. Athletic" Jeff Cobb in what many in attendance are already calling "match of the year". Thatcher scored the roll up pin after Cobb missed a shooting star press. After the match all participants including DDB & APW matchmaker John LaRocca (but minus Jeckles & Anarchy who refused to come out) shook hands as the crowd gave all a rousing ovation.

Although coming up short on the Pacific Challenge AZW definitely made an impression on everyone that was in attendance that night.

Unfortunately the evening left Bobby Bolt with a broken hand. After visiting with doctors in Hawaii, Bolt will be unable to compete on March 19th.
