The 45th state to regulate MMA is Wyoming, whose governor, Matt Mead, signed into state law House Bill 87. This house bill will allow for the creation of an MMA board to oversee and regulate MMA across the state. That now leaves New York, Connecticut, Vermont and Montana as the only states that have yet to regulate the sport of MMA. There is no word on which promotions will run in Wyoming first, but one would think the UFC, Strikeforce or Bellator will set up there at some point.
