REPORT: ANTHONY PETTIS TO FACE GILBERT MELENDEZ ON MAY 19TH

There are several reports coming out that Anthony Pettis has agreed to face Gilbert Melendez for the Strikeforce Lightweight Championship at the May 19th Strikeforce event.
Today, Cesar Gracie had stated that they wanted either Pettis or BJ Penn to come to Strikeforce to take on the champ, and it appears they have gotten their wish.
Strikeforce: Barnett vs Cormier takes place on May 19th and features the conclusion of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix, Melendez defending his title, and several other bouts are expected to be announced soon.
