An expected season five heavyweight tournament final has been delayed again as heavyweight Eric Prindle was scratched from the fight due to flu-like symptoms. This fight has been moved a week until Bellator 62, which is also the start of the season six lightweight tournament. The original fight between Prindle and Thiago Santos took place in season five, but an accidental low blow from Santos to Prindle ended that fight. The winner of the fight is going to face Bellator Heavyweight Champion Cole Konrad, no timetable for that fight has been announced yet.
