An injury to lightweight Dennis Hallman has given Brazilian fighter Thiago Tavares the opportunity to fight UFC Ultimate Fighter champion Tony Ferguson at UFC On Fox III. There is no word yet on what kind of injury was suffered by Hallman and no date has been set for his next UFC appearance. The fight between Thiago Tavares and Tony Ferguson is expected to be part of the preliminary card, which will be broadcast on Fuel TV. UFC On Fox III takes place on May 5th at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey and it is headlined by Jim Miller versus Nate Diaz.
