Due to the rematch announced between UFC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar, top contender Anthony Pettis has decided to undergo surgery. Although the fighter is preparing for surgery, the fighter has yet to disclose what exactly the surgery is for. No timetable has been set for the fighter’s return, who is coming off of a UFC 144 knockout victory over Joe Lauzon.
