Due to a determination from the Mohegan Sun Commission, who oversees the MMA events that happen in the arena, UFC veteran Brian Foster has not been cleared for Bellator 63. In his place will be Jordan Smith, who will now meet David Rickels in the opening round of the season six welterweight tournament next week. Although no official reason was given by the commission, it was recommended that Foster be screened for additional testing before he can fight again. Bellator 63 takes place on March 30th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and it is headlined by Karl Amoussou facing Chris Lozano in tournament action.
