Following a suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion “King†Mo Lawal has been released. Earlier today, King Mo was suspended for nine months by the NSAC due to a failed drug test following his fight with Lorenz Larking in January. King Mo won that encounter by TKO, but a post-fight drug test was failed by the fighter, thus leading to the suspension. There is no word yet from the camp of King Mo on his next move, but competing internationally would not be out of the picture for the fighter.
