Following a 2-2 run in the UFC Welterweight Division, former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Jake Shields has moved to the UFC Middleweight Division. Shields did win his last fight in the UFC, a unanimous decision victory over Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 144. No opponent or date has been set yet for Shields debut in the UFC Middleweight Division, but a Summer event is possible.
