Light heavyweights will battle at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier as Gian Villante will stand across the cage from Derrick Mehmen. Villante has won two straight fights in Strikeforce competition, defeating both Keith Berry and Trevor Smith. Mehmen is currently undefeated in Strikeforce competition, defeating Roy Jones at a July Strikeforce event. Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier takes place on May 19th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California and it is headlined by Josh Barnett versus Daniel Cormier.
