"The Lion Warrior" Bobby Sharp vs. "The Alpha Male" Matt Fairlane
Two of Canada's elite set to square off in a match that was originally scheduled for Explicit Content but never happened due to an unexpected scheduling conflict on behalf of Bobby Sharp. "The Lion Warrior" returns to CWE for the first time in 6 months apart of the new partnership with the CNWA where Sharp has racked up an impressive list of victories against western Canada's best. However, the young star comes into the match at a slight disadvantage just recently breaking his right hand in his match with NWA World champion Adam Pearce last week and is now in a cast. Sharp refused to reschedule a second time and assured management he is good to go in this highly anticipated contest.
If a broken hand wasn't enough to contend with Sharp has to square off against a man who has quickly built a reputation as the toughest and meanest guy in the CWE locker room with a trail of broken bodies and ended careers to his name. "The Alpha Male" Matt Fairlane turned his attitude around and his win/loss record since last summer having not been defeated once since ditching the tag team division. His path of destruction includes many of CWE's best, central Canada's best, and former WWE Intercontinental champion Val Venis. Fairlane has grown increasingly more frustrated month after month feeling he has been given the shaft on a CWE title match despite his success. The hungry youngster battled the grizzled pissed off veteran on April 20th!
