Current number one contender to the UFC Heavyweight Title, Alistair Overeem, has failed a pre-fight drug test and is now out of the UFC 146 title fight against Junior Dos Santos. The NSAC tested several fighters this past week following the UFC 146 Press Conference, Overeem was the only failure thus far coming out of the tests. Overeem’s cup “A†sample failed for an elevated T/E ratio, which exceeded both the 6 to 1 and 10 to 1 limits. No word on who may replace Alistair Overeem in the title fight, but both Cain Velasquez and Frank Mir have to be at the top of the list. UFC 146 takes place on May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos in the main event.
