Fight #4 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Thiago Michel (10-2-0) vs. Brent Weedman (20-7-1)

Referee: Jerry Poe

Round One

The round begins with Weedman attacking Michel early with leg kicks, Weedman then lands a kick to the ribs of Michel. Michel then starts landing some leg kicks of his own on Weedman, Weedman then messes up a takedown attempt and Michel winds up on top of him. Weedman attempts to get back up and Michel pops him with some rights, Weedman uses a reverse to get himself on top of Michel. Weedman finds himself in the side control position on Michel, Michel rolls for a straight arm on Weedman and he fails. Weedman then attacks Michel with a few knee strikes to the midsection, Michel finds a way to stand up and they exchange some knee strikes. Michel then catches Weedman with a counter left and a knee strike, Michel then nails Weedman with a multi-punch combination. Weedman then scores a takedown on Michel as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with both fighters attacking each other with a variety of kicks, Weedman then lands a right to the head of Michel. Weedman then goes for a takedown and Michel locks him in a modified guillotine choke, Weedman breaks free after nailing Michel with a few rights. Weedman then transitions to side control on Michel while landing some knee strikes, Weedman then rolls for a guillotine and Michel escapes to get on top of him. Michel then starts attacking Weedman with some ground and pound, Weedman scrambles to escape before scoring another takedown on Michel. Weedman then starts landing a lot of knee strikes on Michel, the fighters scramble for position as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Michel popping Weedman with a few lefts, Weedman then attacks Michel with a punch/kick combination. Weedman slips after a head kick attempt on Michel, Michel jumps on top of Weedman and he attacks him with a lot of strikes. Weedman uses a scramble to get the fight back to the feet, Weedman then forces Michel up against the cage wall while landing knee strikes. Weedman then scores a takedown and he immediately gets side control, Michel then powers his way back to the feet. Michel the lands a spinning back kick to the rib cage of Weedman, Michel then lands a kick to the body of Weedman. Michel then starts throwing as many kicks as possible against Weedman, Weedman spins for a leg lock on Michel as the round ends.

Fight Result: Brent Weedman def. Thiago Michel by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 28-29)

Post fight interview with Brent Weedman, who says he cannot wait to meet his newborn son and he will have to review this fight.

Fight #5 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Rick Hawn (12-1-0) vs. Lloyd Woodard (12-1-0)

Referee: Jerry Krzys

Round One

The round begins with Woodard attacking Hawn with some leg kicks, the fighters then battle for position on the cage wall. The referee then separates the fighters after inactivity and Woodard attempts a jump knee on Hawn, Hawn then scores a takedown on Woodard and he gets side control. Woodard then uses a scramble to get the fight standing, Woodard then grabs Hawn and he attacks him with knee strikes. Hawn switches positions with Woodard while attacking him with knee strikes, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Hawn just holds Woodard up against the cage wall.

Round Two

The round begins with Hawn dropping Woodard with a short right, Hawn follows it up with a few more strikes and the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Rick Hawn def. Lloyd Woodard by TKO via strikes (0:10, R2)

Post fight interview with Rick Hawn, who says he had a game plan for fighting Lloyd Woodard and the finish just happened out of nowhere.

Fight #6 - Bellator Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Maiquel Falcao (16-1-0) vs. Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (29-4-0)

Referee: Chad Trukovich

Round One

The round begins with Falcao quickly popping Vasilevsky with a two punch combination, Vasilevsky then drops Falcao with a right after eating a leg kick. Falcao then starts rolling for some submissions on Vasilevsky, Falcao then pushes Vasilevsky off of him. Vasilevsky then quickly scores another takedown on Falcao, Falcao quickly scrambles back to his feet again. Vasilevsky then scores yet another takedown on Falcao, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Falcao catches Vasilevsky with a leg kick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Vasilevsky nailing Falcao with a counter left, Vasilevsky then starts popping Falcao with a series of lefts. Falcao continues to swing with the right and he misses badly, Vasilevsky then scores a trip takedown on Falcao and he gets side control. Falcao scrambles and he gets the fight standing again, Vasilevsky attempts a standing guillotine on Falcao and he fails. Falcao then catches Vasilevsky with a three punch combination, Vasilevsky then goes for a takedown and Falcao winds up on top of him. Falcao then starts attacking Vasilevsky with a ton of hammer fists, Falcao then starts nailing Vasilevsky with a lot of ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Falcao quickly catching Vasilevsky with a right, Vasilevsky responds by peppering Falcao with a lot of jabs. Falcao then rocks Vasilevsky badly with a right to the jaw, Falcao then nails Vasilevsky with a lot of body punches and knee strikes. Falcao then nails Vasilevsky with a two punch combination, Falcao then resumes his knee strike attack on Vasilevsky. Falcao then barely catches Vasilevsky with a wild right, Vasilevsky then scores a takedown on Falcao and he gets the half guard. Vasilevsky then transitions to the full mount on Falcao. Falcao then uses a sweep to get himself on top of Vasilevsky, Falcao then finds himself in the half guard. Falcao then starts attacking Vasilevsky with some ground and pound, Vasilevsky then finds a way to stand up. Falcao then grabs him and he nails him with multiple knee strikes, Vasilevsky then scores a takedown on Falcao as the round ends.

Fight Result: Maiquel Falcao def. Vyacheslav Vasilevski by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Post fight interview with Maiquel Falcao, who says he cannot wait for the finals and he has nothing much to say right now.

Fight #6 - Bellator Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Brian Rogers (9-3-0) vs. Andreas Spang (7-1-0)

Referee: Jerry Poe

Round One

The round begins with Rogers quickly nailing Spang with some leg kicks, Rogers then accidentally hits Spang low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Spang rocking Rogers with a right, Spang then jumps on the back on Rogers and he goes for the rear naked choke. Rogers drops backwards to get Spang off of him and he attacks him with hammer fists, the fighters stand back up and Rogers rocks Spang with a right. Rogers then goes for the flying knee strike on Spang a few times, Rogers then gets a trip takedown on Spang and he gets back control. Rogers then goes for an out of position rear naked choke on Spang, Spang breaks free and gets on top of Rogers. Spang then starts landing a lot of ground and pound on Rogers as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Rogers assaulting Spang with a multi-punch combination, Rogers then pops Spang with two rights after catching his kick. Spang then catches Rogers with a counter left, Rogers then starts attacking the body of Spang with strikes. Rogers then rocks Spang with a left to the face, Rogers then starts nailing Spang with a series of jabs to the face. Spang then catches Rogers with a counter left from out of nowhere and he goes down, Spang follows up with ground and pound until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Andreas Spang def. Brian Rogers by TKO via strikes (3:34, R2)

Post fight interview with Andreas Spang, who says that his opponent is incredible and he likes Cleveland fans a lot. Maiquel Falcao is brought into the cage and a brawl breaks out with Andreas Spang.

Fight #7 - Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Eddie Alvarez (22-3-0) vs. Shinya Aoki (30-5-0)

Referee: Jerry Kryzs

Round One

The round begins with Alvarez peppering Aoki with his jabs, Alvarez then starts landing punches to the rib cage of Aoki. Alvarez follows that up by popping Aoki with a straight right, Alvarez then drops Aoki with a right uppercut. Alvarez follows it up with a lot of ground and pound until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Eddie Alvarez def. Shinya Aoki by TKO via strikes (2:14, R1)

Post fight interview with Eddie Alvarez, who says that Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney needs to show him the money and he thanks his supporters.
