Following a successful title defense over Rashad Evans at UFC 145, Jon Jones will next defend his gold against former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson. Jones has now defeated three former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions in titles defenses, with victories over Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida and Quinton Jackson. Henderson earned his title shot after defeating Mauricio Rua by decision at UFC 139, which was Henderson’s first UFC fight since UFC 100. No date has been set yet for the title defense, nut a late Summer or early Fall timeframe is expected right now.
