This Friday, April 27 between 7-9 am, IWF Wrestling will be LIVE on PIX 11 TV Morning News to promote our One-Night-Only Live Event with WWE Legends this Saturday, April 28 in Nutley, NJ, to benefit American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Nutley.  Tune in live Friday, or set your DVR's.  A few tickets remain for Saturday's event, so get yours now.

Proceeds To Benefit American Cancer Society's Relay For Life
 
WWE Legends, IWF Stars, American Idol Sensation Come Together For Charity
 
(NUTLEY, NJ)- Get ready to bodyslam cancer as the Independent Wrestling Federation presents a once in a lifetime family-friendly Live Event Fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Nutley.

The star-studded event happens this Saturday, April 28, with a 7:45 pm bell-time at the Parks & Recreation Building, 44 Park Avenue, Nutley, NJ.

Headlining the extravaganza are main event bouts with WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana and WWE Legend The Rocker Marty Jannetty.  Santana and Jannetty are former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champions.  WWE Legend Young Stallion Jim Powers, a former Survivor Series winner, hosts a meet and greet session.

Nutley's Kevin Knight will defend the IWF Heavyweight Title.  Also appearing are Self-Made Travis Blake with Commissioner Richard Ross, The Fifth Element Roman Zachary, Phat Daddy Biggie Biggs, Outlaw Shane O'Brien, IWF Tag Team Champions The Master Frank Scoleri and Absolutely Edwin, All-Star Austin Williams, The Gambler Mr. Casino, Lethal Injection Doctor Hurtz, Mad Dawg Jenkins, Marc Corino, Jersey Shore Jock Mike Dennis, Rock Queen Alissa, AJ Sparxx, and Mic Time Mike Winner.

"Join the Department of Parks and Recreation on their mission to help find cures, raise funds and support the American Cancer Society," said Nutley Mayor Mauro G. Tucci.

Doors open 7 pm as Ocean Beach NJ Sales and Rentals presents the interactive All-Access Pre-Event Fan Fest where families can connect with health-related businesses featuring Muscle Maker Grill of Nutley and Lyndhurst, Signature Fitness of Belleville, High Street Rehab of Nutley, and Champion Nutrition.  The Fan Fest, which includes a Wrestler Meet and Greet, is free with your event ticket.

Gabi Carrubba, pop singing sensation as seen on this season's American Idol on FOX, will perform the National Anthem to kick-off the event.  Other special guest celebrity appearances include Sirius XM 'Busted Open' Radio Host David LaGreca, WCTC 1450-AM Radio Host Bert Baron, Champion Nutrition Fitness Girls, Nutley High School Wrestling Coach Frank DiPiano and more.

"This is a great way for people to enjoy a fantastic event while supporting a cause near and dear to the community," said Chrissy Andrascik, Director of Special Events for American Cancer Society.  "We are appreciative to the IWF for making this fundraiser possible."

Net proceeds from the spectacular will be donated to Relay For Life.  Tickets are $22 VIP Ringside, $18 Ringside Floor, and $12 General Admission.  Groups of 6 or more save $2 per ticket in advance.

 

Advance tickets available online now at CampIWF.com.  Advance tickets also available at the Nutley Recreation Department, 44 Park Avenue, now through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm (check or money order only, payable to: Relay For Life Nutley).  Remaining tickets will be available at the door beginning at 7 pm (cash only at the door).
