This coming Summer’s UFC Middleweight Title battle between champion Anderson Silva and challenger Chael Sonnen has been moved from UFC 147 to UFC 148. The change happened due to the Rio+20 United Nations Summit being held in Rio Da Janeiro, Brazil, which would be happening the same time as UFC 147. This card change now means that both the UFC Middleweight Title and UFC Bantamweight Titles will be defended on the same card. UFC 148 takes place on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned middleweight title fight headlining.
