Following the UFC Middleweight Title Fight being moved to UFC 148, UFC President Dana White has stated that UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will compete on the card. Aldo was originally scheduled to defend the gold at UFC 149 in Canada, but his next fight has now been moved up. Currently, there is no opponent named for the title fight against Aldo, but Japanese fighter Hatsu Hioki has been the long rumored opponent. UFC 147 takes place on June 23rd in Brazil with no official location announced yet and UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo headlines.
