For the first time since competing in Strikeforce, Jake Shields will be competing as a middleweight and he battles Ed Herman at UFC 150. Shields recently rebounded from a two fight losing streak when he defeated Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 144. Herman has been riding a three fight winning streak since returning from injury in late 2011, most notably defeating Kyle Noke. UFC 150 takes place on August 11th at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado with Ben Henderson versus Frankie Edgar headlining.
