Fight #1 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Mike Massenzio (13-6-0) vs. Karlos Vemola (9-2-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Vemola nailing Massenzio with a leg kick and a left, Vemola then trips Massenzio to the ground before getting head control. Massenzio gets back up and he forces Vemola against the wall briefly, Massenzio then catches Vemola with a knee strike and a straight left. Massenzio then scores the takedown on Vemola and he nearly gets guillotine choked, Massenzio then advances to the half guard while landing some elbow strikes. The fighters stand up and Massenzio catches Vemola with a series of lefts, Massenzio then briefly drags Vemola to the ground. Massenzio then puts Vemola on the ground again while getting side control, Vemola then explodes to his feet. Vemola then scores a takedown of his own as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Massenzio quickly catching Vemola with a left before eating a right, Massenzio then drops for a guillotine on Vemola and he fails. Vemola then spins to get back control on Massenzio, Vemola then locks in the rear naked choke and Massenzio taps.

Fight Result: Karlos Vemola def. Mike Massenzio by submission via rear naked choke (1:07, R2)

Post fight interview with Karlos Vemola, who says he will be staying at middleweight and he followed his game plan tonight.

Fight #2 - UFC Bantamweight Division Fight

Roland Delorme (7-1-0) vs. Nick Denis (11-2-0)

Round One

The round begins with Denis catching Delorme with rights early, Denis then blocks a Delorme takedown attempt with a knee strike. Delorme then catches Denis with a counter right after eating a jab, Denis responds by hitting Delorme with an uppercut. Denis then scores a takedown on Delorme, Delorme then rolls for an arm bar and Denis power slams him to escape. Delorme then uses his power to get the fight standing, Delorme then starts attacking Denis with a variety of kicks, Denis then pops Delorme with a few rights and some knee strikes. Delorme then pulls guard on Denis after eating an uppercut, Denis postures up to get the fight standing. Delorme then pops Denis with a wild left hook, Delorme then rocks Denis with a multi-punch combination. Delorme then scores a takedown on Denis and he gets the half guard, Delorme then advances to back control and he locks in the rear naked choke to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Roland Delorme def. Nick Denis by submission via rear naked choke (4:59, R1)

Post fight interview with Roland Delorme, who says it was good to see Joe Rogan again and his scouting of Nick Denis got him the victory.

Fight #3 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Dennis Bermudez (8-3-0) vs. Pablo Garza (12-2-0)

Round One

The round begins with Bermudez popping Garza with a right before scoring the takedown, Garza stands up with Bermudez holding onto his head. Bermudez then attacked Garza with knee strikes while holding onto his head, Bermudez then scores another takedown on Garza and he gets side control. Garza then nearly rolls for the triangle choke on Bermudez, Garza then gets Bermudez into his closed guard. Bermudez then starts assaulting Garza with ground and pound, Garza then rocks Bermudez with a series of up kicks. Garza finds a way to stand up and he eats a few rights from Bermudez, Garza then catches Bermudez with a push kick. Bermudez then takes Garza down with a professional wrestling-like slam, Bermudez pounds on Garza as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with the fighters battling for position along the cage wall, Bermudez then scores a takedown on Garza and he gets the half guard. Garza eventually forces Bermudez into his closed guard, Bermudez quickly advances to side control on Garza. Garza then finds a way to get Bermudez into his closed guard again, Bermudez then starts catching Garza with some ground and pound. Garza scrambles and Bermudez winds up advancing to half guard on him, Garza quickly gets him back into the closed guard. Bermudez allows the fight to be stood up before nailing Garza with a flying knee strike, Bermudez then scores another takedown on Garza and he gets the half guard. The fighters stand up and Bermudez gets another takedown on Garza as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Bermudez attempting some wild strikes on Garza, Bermudez then scores a takedown on Garza he gets the half guard. Bermudez then starts attacking Garza with a lot of ground and pound, Garza eventually gets Bermudez into the closed guard. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Garza nails Bermudez with an uppercut, Bermudez then scores another takedown on Garza and he gets the half guard again. Bermudez postures up and he eats a few up kicks from Garza, Bermudez then dives into the half guard on Garza. Bermudez then advances to the full mount on Garza, Bermudez then advances to back control after landing some strikes. Bermudez then attempts the rear naked choke as the round ends.

Fight Result: Dennis Bermudez def. Pablo Garza by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Post fight interview with Dennis Bermudez, who says something in a Mike Tyson-like voice and then he talks about his opponents reach advantage.

Fight #4 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Danny Castillo (13-4-0) vs. John Cholish (8-1-0)

Round One

The round begins with Castillo powering Cholish up against the cage wall, the fighters separate and Castillo nearly submits Cholish after he slipped. Cholish then gets standing back control while scrambling with Castillo, Castillo changes positions to hit Cholish with some knee strikes. Cholish then starts popping Castillo with a series of jabs, Cholish then nails Castillo with a knee strike after eating a right. Castillo then pops Cholish with a few rights to the face, Cholish then forces Castillo up against the cage wall. Castillo then lands a few leg kicks on Cholish as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Cholish quickly attacking Castillo with some leg kicks, Cholish then scores a takedown on Castillo and he gets the half guard. Castillo finds a way to stand up after getting some space, Castillo then lands a three punch combination on Cholish. Cholish then briefly puts Castillo on the ground before getting a knee to the belly, Cholish then fails at a takedown attempt and Castillo grabs him with head control. The fighters stand up and Castillo rocks Cholish with a right uppercut, Castillo then scores a takedown as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with the fighters exchanging some jabs, the fighters then take the opportunity to exchange leg kicks. Castillo then briefly puts Cholish on the ground with a takedown, the fighters then battle for position along the cage wall. Cholish then drops for a leg lock and Castillo winds up on top of him, Cholish then powers his way to his feet. Cholish then catches an incoming Castillo with a left and some jabs, Castillo then barely clips Cholish with an uppercut. Cholish then drops for the leg of Castillo again as the round ends.

Fight Result: Danny Castillo def. John Cholish by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #5 - UFC Flyweight Division Fight

Louis Gaudinot (5-2-0) vs. John Lineker (19-5-0)

Round One

The round begins with Lineker destroying Gaudinot early with a lot of big punching combinations, Gaudinot responds with some strikes of his own. Lineker then pops Gaudinot with a counter right before landing a leg kick, Lineker then starts attacking Gaudinot with leg kicks. Lineker then starts nailing Gaudinot with some punches to the rib cage, Lineker follows that up by catching Gaudinot with a few lefts. Lineker then catches Gaudinot with a left hook to the jaw, the fighters then start having a wild exchange in the octagon. Gaudinot then scores a takedown on Lineker and he gets the closed guard, Lineker tries attacking from his back. Lineker rolls for a heel hook on Gaudinot and he eats a few strikes for his efforts, Gaudinot attacks with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with the fighters having another wild exchange, Gaudinot then starts landing some leg kicks on Lineker. Lineker then catches Gaudinot with a two punch combination, Lineker also starts working the midsection of Gaudinot. Lineker then just starts teeing off of Gaudinot near the cage wall, Lineker then lands a knee strike on Gaudinot. Lineker then nails Gaudinot with a few left hooks before eating a left himself, Gaudinot then scores a takedown on Lineker and he gets the half guard. Gaudinot then starts attacking Lineker with some ground and pound, Gaudinot advances to the half guard while landing some strikes on Lineker. Lineker attempts to stand up and Gaudinot catches him with a guillotine choke and Lineker goes out cold.

Fight Result: Louis Gaudinot def. John Lineker by submission via guillotine choke (4:54, R2)

Post fight interview with Louis Gaudinot, who says his opponent is awesome and he studied his opponent a lot for tonight.

Fight #6 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

John Hathaway (15-1-0) vs. Pascal Kraus (10-0-0)

Round One

The round begins with Hathaway peppering Kraus with a series of jabs, Hathaway then lands a kick to the body of Kraus. Hathaway charges at Kraus before nailing him with another kick, Hathaway then drops Kraus with a knee strike. Hathaway then dives on top of Kraus to wind up in the full guard, Hathaway then starts attacking Kraus with some ground and pound. The fighters stand after a scramble and Kraus pops Hathaway with a counter right, Kraus then starts attacking Hathaway with leg kicks. Kraus then scores a takedown on Hathaway after eating a right, Kraus then advances to the half guard as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Hathaway scoring the quick takedown on Kraus, Hathaway then starts attacking Kraus with some elbow strikes. Kraus tries to attack Hathaway from his back, Hathaway then starts mounting the pressure with the ground and pound. Kraus then uses a scramble to get the fight back to the feet, Kraus then chases Hathaway with hitting him with a few rights. Hathaway then winds up to clobber Kraus with a right, Hathaway then catches Kraus with another knee strike during a takedown attempt as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hathaway catching Kraus with a multi-punch combination, both fighters then exchange some wild rights. The fighters clinch and Hathaway nails Kraus with a right, Hathaway then scores a takedown on Kraus and he gets side control. Kraus then forces Hathaway back into the open guard, Hathaway eventually returns to the half guard on Kraus. Hathaway allows the fight to be stood up to catch Kraus with a flying knee strike, Hathaway then catches Kraus with a spinning back fist. Hathaway then rocks Kraus with a right and a flying knee strike, Kraus recovers to hold Hathaway up against the cage wall. Hathaway responds by nailing Kraus with another knee strike, Hathaway follows that up by nailing Kraus with an uppercut as the round ends.

Fight Result: John Hathaway def. Pascal Kraus by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Post fight interview with John Hathaway, who says his opponent was a great athlete and he surprised how tough he was.

Fight #7 - UFC Flyweight Division Fight

John Dodson (13-5-0) vs. Tim Elliot (8-2-1)

Round One

The round begins with Elliot attacking Dodson with a variety of kicks, Dodson then shoves Elliot to the ground after a missed kick. Elliot then cracks Dodson with a right after catching his foot, Dodson then starts attacking Elliot with some leg kicks. Elliot then cracks Dodson with a few lefts and a wild kick, Dodson then catches Elliot with a multi-punch combination. Dodson then starts peppering Elliot with a series of jabs, Elliot then nails Dodson with an odd looking left. Elliot then tries to pull guard on Dodson and he fails, Elliot then pops Dodson with another left to the face. Dodson then accidentally pokes Elliot in the eye and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Dodson catching Elliot with a left to the jaw. Dodson then lands a kick on Elliot as he attempted a spinning back fist as the round ends.

Round Two

Round Three

The round begins with Elliot cracking Dodson with multiple knee strikes, Dodson then briefly drops Elliot with a left. Elliot then catches Dodson with a short right before getting hit with a left, Elliot then nails Dodson with three straight punches. Dodson then fails at a takedown attempt on Elliot, Elliot then catches Dodson with a straight left to the face. Dodson then changes his attack by nailing Elliot with leg kicks, Elliot responds by catching Dodson with a punching combination. Elliot then catches Dodson’s foot and then cracking him with lefts, Dodson then lands a jab as the round ends.

Fight Result: John Dodson def. Tim Elliot by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #8 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Tony Ferguson (14-2-0) vs. Michael Johnson (11-6-0)

Round One

The round begins with Johnson nailing Ferguson with some leg kicks, Johnson then catches Ferguson with a left. Ferguson then lights Johnson up with a three punch combination, Johnson then drops Ferguson with a left. Ferguson quickly stands back up and Johnson nails Ferguson with a counter left, Johnson then resumes his leg kick attack on Ferguson. Johnson follows that up by nailing Ferguson with another left, Ferguson then lands an uppercut as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Johnson catching Ferguson with a kick to the midsection, Johnson then unloads on Ferguson with a punching combo. Ferguson then barely catches Johnson with a straight right, Ferguson then catches Johnson with an uppercut after eating a left. Ferguson then starts going after Johnson with some leg kicks, Johnson then lands another kick to the body of Ferguson. Johnson then attempts to attack Ferguson with some flying knee strikes, Ferguson then goes for a spinning back fist as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Ferguson attacking Johnson with some leg kicks, Johnson recovers to nail Ferguson with a two punch combination. Johnson follows that up by catching Ferguson with a multi-punch combination, Ferguson catches Johnson with a right after barely getting hit with a head kick. Ferguson then dazes Johnson briefly with a straight right, Johnson responds by catching Ferguson with a few lefts. Johnson keeps it going by hitting Ferguson with a counter left, Johnson then rocks Ferguson with a counter left after eating a leg kick. Ferguson then catches Johnson with a right during a flying knee attempt, Johnson then rocks Ferguson with a multi-punch combination as the round ends.
