The UFC Bantamweight Title rubber match between champion Dominick Cruz and challenger Urijah Faber is off. The reason behind this is that the champion, Cruz, has suffered a torn ACL and it will require surgery at some point. Cruz and Faber are currently serving as coaches on UFC Ultimate Fighter Live, which is currently in the quarterfinal round. Faber may still compete on the card, but no opponent has been announced as of this writing, but one could be announced soon. UFC 148 takes place on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva versus Chael Sonnen headlining.
