This July will see the crowning of a new Strikeforce Welterweight Champion as UFC veteran Nate Marquardt will face Tyron Woodley. Marquardt has not fought since being released from the UFC over a year ago following issues with his medical clearance for a UFC On Versus IV fight. Woodley has been undefeated thus far in his MMA career and is the product of the Strikeforce Challengers Series, which ended in 2011. This fight will take place at a yet unannounced July Strikeforce event, no venue and/or location has been announced yet.
