A pair of heavyweight battles have been added to UFC On Fox IV as Matt Mitrione faces Rob Broughton and Philip De Fries faces Oli Thompson. Mitrione is coming off of his first career loss, which came by unanimous decision to Cheick Kongo at UFC 137. Broughton has lost two straight fights heading into this encounter and he could easily be fighting to avoid a UFC release.
De Fries recently saw his undefeated streak come to an end at UFC On Fuel TV I when Stipe Miocic knocked him out. Thompson is currently winless in UFC competition, losing his promotional debut to Shawn Jordan at UFC On FX II. UFC On Fox IV takes place on August 4th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California with Hector Lombard and Brian Stann headlining.
