A lightweight battle between two fighters in need of a victory has been added to UFC 148 as Shane Roller battles John Alessio. Roller, a WEC import, has lost all three of his UFC fights and most recently lost to Michael Johnson at UFC On Fox II. Alessio returned to the UFC after a five year break at UFC 145, losing a unanimous decision to Mark Bocek. UFC 148 takes place on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen headlining.
