Former UFC Featherweight Title challenger Chad Mendes returns to action at UFC 148 against UFC Ultimate Fighter contestant Cody McKenzie. Mendes last competed at UFC 142 in a losing effort to UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Also via first round knockout. McKenzie just competed this past Tuesday Night, defeating Marcus LaVesseur by submission at UFC On Fuel TV III. UFC 148 takes place on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen headlining.
