Following an injury to Vitor Belfort, former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin will step in and face Wanderlei Silva at UFC 147. Franklin has not fought since a decision loss to Forrest Griffin at UFC 126, he has been battling injuries since. Silva has won two of his last three in the UFC, with those victories coming over Michael Bisping and Cung Le. UFC 147 takes place on June 23rd at the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizante, Brazil with Rick Franklin and Wanderlei Silva headlining.
