KENNY FLORIAN RETIRES

UFC veteran Kenny Florian has announced his retirement from the sport after a nine year run, mainly competing in the UFC. Florian challenged for the UFC Lightweight Title twice in losing efforts to Sean Sherk and BJ Penn, while challenging for the UFC Featherweight Title once in a losing effort to Jose Aldo. Florian is currently one half of the new UFC announce team with John Anik, as the duo calls the events that air on both FX and Fuel TV. Florian was a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 1 and he retires with a professional MMA record of 14-6-0.
