An undisclosed injury has forced veteran welterweight Thiago Alves off the UFC 149 card, as he was scheduled to meet Siyar Bahadurzada at the event. No replacement has been announced as of this writing, although one should be announced within the week. UFC 149 takes place on July 21st at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with Jose Aldo and Erik Koch headlining.
