During the E3 Press Conference, UFC President Dana White announced that the UFC video game license has been transferred from THQ to EA Sports. EA Sports is currently responsible for such games as Madden NFL, Tiger Woods Golf, NHL, FIFA Soccer, Fight Night Boxing and others. No timetable has been set for the first release of the EA Sports branded UFC video game, but sometime in 2013 is expected. EA Sports previously created an MMA game a few years back called EA MMA, it featured such fighters as Randy Couture, Fedor Emelianenko, Nick Diaz and others.
