The Ultimate Fighting Championships announced that top bantamweight fighter Michael McDonald has signed a four fight extension with the promotion. McDonald has been undefeated thus far in the UFC with victories over Miguel Torres, Alex Soto, Chris Cariaso and Edwin Figueroa. McDonald was in line for the UFC Interim Bantamweight Title fight against Urijah Faber at UFC 148, but the opportunity went to Renan Barao. There is no word yet on when McDonald will fight again in the UFC, but it is expected to happen sometime this Fall.
