LASALLE – Just as the temperature in the Illinois Valley gets hotter, DREAMWAVE Wrestling returns to LaSalle, IL with the Doubleshot Weekend on June 8th/9th!! The weekend kicks off with a FREE outdoor show at the “Celebrate LaSalle” festival at Hegler Park in LaSalle on Friday June 8th and concludes with “Immortality” on Saturday night at the Knights of Columbus in LaSalle on June 9th.
“This weekend will be a huge event for the Illinois Valley,” said DREAMWAVE CEO JC Costilli. “This will be our third consecutive year of performing at the festival and having a back to back event on the same weekend gives us a huge opportunity to get our product in front of plenty of new fans.”
This weekend’s events feature two well-known national stars in Ring of Honor (ROH) superstar Davey Richards and Shockwave The Robot. Shockwave will be making his Illinois debut on Saturday night. “I feel very confident in saying that we have the best locker room of any company in the Midwest, but it is exciting to have talent like Richards and Shockwave coming in as well. Shockwave is from the New York area and has never wrestled in Illinois before, so we are pleased to give our fans the chance to see something no one has had the opportunity to see before.”
“Celebrate LaSalle” on Friday night is an 8 match card headlined by new DREAMWAVE World Champion Nick Brubaker defending the title against Richards, the former ROH World Champion. Richards also returns on Saturday night to face former DREAMWAVE World Champion and Midwest legend Acid. The second half of the Doubleshot Weekend, “Immortality”, has a tag team main event as The A-List (Brubaker/Marshe Rockett) w/Ryland Foxx declare war on The Revolution (Austin Roberts/Prince Ali) w/former DREAMWAVE CEO Jay Repsel and also features Shockwave The Robot going one on one with DREAMWAVE superstar Christian Rose, who has yet to be pinned.
