An interesting lightweight fight has been added to next month’s Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy event as Ryan Couture battles Joe Duarte. Couture is coming off of the biggest victory of his career, a submission win over veteran Conor Heun at Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey. Duarte is currently undefeated in Strikeforce competition, with victories over both Saad Awad and Jorge Gurgel. Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy takes place on July 14th at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon with Luke Rockhold and Tim Kennedy headlining.
