An undisclosed injury has forced UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo out of a scheduled UFC 148 title defense against Erik Koch. In its place will now be the UFC Interim Bantamweight Title fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao, which was originally scheduled for UFC 148. Erik Koch, who was Jose Aldo’s opponent, will sit on the sidelines until the champion recovers from injury. Since the Faber/Barao title fight has changed cards, the new UFC 148 co-main event will be the rubber match between Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz.
